Hot Yoga & Inferno Hot Pilates Instructor
Carrie has been passionate about movement and wellness since childhood, when she spent hours doing Jane Fonda and Denise Austin workouts in her living room.

Carrie is especially passionate about helping people—particularly women—age strong, healthy, and vibrant. She believes in building strength, improving mobility, reducing pain, and taking care of your body before health becomes a crisis.
Her classes are supportive, welcoming, and non-competitive. Carrie encourages students to listen to their bodies, take breaks when needed, and build their practice at their own pace.

LEO
Leo is a big, bald, tattooed former bartender and hockey player from Philly. He’s lived a lot of life—and not all of it in the healthiest way. Before discovering yoga, Leo found himself at a crossroads, staring down a path that was leading nowhere fast.
At the time, he weighed 418 pounds. His days were filled with heavy eating, drinking, and the physical toll of years of hard living. Concerned for his health, Leo’s wife encouraged him to visit a doctor. The message he received was clear and urgent: if he didn’t make a drastic behavioral change immediately, his life would be in serious danger.
Leo began by modifying his diet, and over time, managed to lose 40 pounds. But soon he hit a plateau. He knew he had to do more—but wasn’t sure what. That’s when he turned his attention to something he had been observing quietly for a while: his wife’s Bikram Yoga practice. Not only had it transformed her body, but it also improved her overall well-being and mindset in ways that caught Leo’s attention.
In 2002, Leo stepped into the hot room for the first time—and never looked back.
The yoga challenged him in ways he never expected. It tested him, strengthened him, and healed him from the inside out. Over time, it transformed his body, mind, and life. Moved by the power of the practice and eager to help others discover the same healing, Leo went to Bikram Yoga Teacher Training in Spring 2005.
Since then, he’s been teaching full-time—leading 20+ classes a week with a passion and energy that can only be described as contagious. Leo’s teaching is more than instruction—it’s motivation. It’s a call to action. He believes in empowering people to help themselves, to look beyond the reflection in the mirror and connect with the person on the mat—the one who’s showing up, day after day, to do the work.
Leo’s story is more than a transformation—it's a reminder that change is possible, no matter where you start. His journey continues to inspire countless students who walk into the studio unsure of what’s next, and leave believing in their own ability to rise.

Emily Fonte
In 2020, while working toward my master’s degree, I realized I had spent most of my life investing in academics while unintentionally putting my own health on the back burner. I knew something needed to change.
A loved one introduced me to Bikram Yoga, and it definitely wasn’t love at first sweat—it was HARD. But I kept coming back. Over time, I began to understand the power of the 26&2 sequence and the consistency, discipline, and commitment it requires.
Years of practice have helped me feel more at home in my body and have positively changed the way I feel, think, sleep, breathe, and move. In 2021, I became a certified Bikram Yoga instructor so I could share the practice that had made such a meaningful difference in my own life.
I am also certified in IPT-based Yin Yoga. Whether you’re looking to challenge yourself, improve how you feel, or simply create positive change in your life, I invite you to experience what consistent practice can do for you.
